Scouting for Pharoah
Full on with painting Egyptians for the forthcoming refight of The Apocryphal Well. To keep things ticking along here are some S Range Egyptian horse archers carrying out preliminary reconaissance on the oasis under orders from Horemhabib.
I was hpoing to have it in late June, but looking at the calendar an irritating amount of work, family matters and the bother of moving house seem to be taking up too much time...
While it has nothing to do with these particular figures, I'd like to ask; what frontages are you using, Harry ? Perhaps it's not overly important to you in the grand scheme of things. But for example, light vs. close order infantry, light vs. medium/heavy cavalry - how do you like to space the figures ?
I have them based on the old WRG frontages. They seem as good as any, and the figures' bases fit on to them without the need for any trimming or clipping.
When is the game?
